Firefly Future launched its Funds Management division (Firefly Funds Management Pty Ltd) in 2018, enabling investors to partner with Firefly Future and its integrated group through investing in retail property.

Firefly Future and its partners have several decades of experience managing the various facets of commercial and retail property development and have invested in these properties since the business's launch.

Investment strategy

Our investment strategy centres around two segments of the commercial property market, within prime Southeast Queensland locations. We target unique assets in trade areas currently under-serviced and unrestricted and possess significant future population and trade growth.

We do this by acquiring neighbourhood retail assets that offer opportunities for improvement. Through our expertise and efforts, we transform underperforming suburban retail centres into dynamic and vibrant retail villages and standalone properties into highly sought-after convenience destinations.

Standalone Properties

We acquire land or existing properties in prime locations, which we match with strong and highly sought-after convenience offerings, such as fast food (e.g. Hungry Jack’s, Taco Bell) and service stations (e.g. 7-eleven). Our development partners then: ​pre-lease the property with extended lease terms and co-design and build the premises to suit the tenant’s needs.​ Learn more

    We prioritise individual investor convenience by offering well-defined capital return redemption windows. Additionally, outside of these windows, we maintain flexibility to readily address individual requests, leveraging the significant advantage of our nimble and hands-on approach.

    Each investment is individually purchased and owned by a dedicated trust structure. When you invest in the trust, you become a direct owner of a proportional share, entitling you to receive designated returns.
